Poland PolandUnlawful use of my photography, what to do?

Hi,

Recently I've found out that my photo has been used as a book cover by one ot Vietnamese publishers (Nha Nam). This is book of Susan Elizabeth Phillips, a well known author. What should I do in this case? I wrote to Axelrod Agency that represents writers, they immediately gave me an answer that will take a look. What to expect? Is there a possibitity of any recompensation? Help ;)

I have a friend based In Hong Kong who has done work in Vietnam. I'm sorry but I don't have high hopes in this case.

Given your location (Poland) and the rather lax copyright treatment in Vietnam, I would think it becomes very difficult. However, this advice is very, very good - albeit for the US market:
