I've been asked to sell the rights to several photos to a major US Monthly Magazine (500K per month). I'm leaning towards $300 per, willing to negotiate down, but no less than $200. Is that asking too much?? Or should I try for $400 and work down? Thanks.

It will be a small run of 1,500. All images will just be used in the book...around 150 images of antique guns. My usual day rate is $1200...for electronic rights and limited serial rights. How much more should I increase my day rate? Or should it be a per image charge? if so...
